Domain Registration General

How do I use multiple domains for one website (domain aliases)?

Domain aliases allow multiple domain names to point to the same website content. Common use cases: registering common typos of your brand (yahooo.com points to yahoo.com), defensive registration (competitor-name-alternative.com), owning both .com and .in versions, or transitioning from an old brand name to a new one. Two methods: 1) DNS-level redirect (domain forwarding): configure domain B to 301-redirect to domain A. Visitors see domain A in address bar. 2) Server-level alias (Parked Domain in cPanel): domain B and domain A show identical content without redirect. Search engines may see duplicate content — add canonical tags pointing to domain A. Set up domain aliases in Connect Quest cPanel > Domains > Aliases. DNS redirect: Connect Quest domain management > Forwarding. For SEO, the 301 redirect approach is cleaner — one authoritative domain with aliases redirecting to it. Manage all domains from one Connect Quest account at connectquest.co.in.
